RE: [SAWD] Microsoft in the House on Wednesday

Hi all,

It was good to meet some of you tonight. Unfortunately we had to pivot to
more a networking and discussion format to fit the venue, but we'll work to
reschedule the talk for a future date. I know a lot of you were looking
forward to looking at the JavaScript app development model.

For those that want to "skip ahead", check out the comment on the event page
(http://www.meetup...) for info on how to get
the presentation material from tonight. I'll follow up.

I look forward to seeing y'all again.

Cheers,

-RYAN

PS: If you’re in Austin these next few days, find me during SXSW.

I guess this is taking place instead of the Mobile App discussion?

Good Morning Developers,
Your web skills can be used to make Windows 8 apps. Right now. Come learn
how skills like HTML5, JavaScript and CSS as well as media queries,
templating and data binding can be used to take advantage of these new
desktop/tablet opportunities.

Ryan Joy has been developing web and desktop user interfaces using HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript for more than a decade. These days he’s a Developer
Evangelist @ Microsoft promoting those same technologies to others. You can
usually find him in Austin, TX. You can always find him online

We want to see everyone out on Wednesday night! Let me know if you have any
questions.

Thank You,
