Monday Climbs at PG Sunnyvale

Meet at 7:00 in front by the benches.

What’s more fun than getting a good workout, meeting enthusiastic climbers, and really sore forearms? Nothing of course, and now you can achieve all three simultaneously by joining us for another climbing session this Monday at Planet Granite.

All climbing abilities are welcome. We will meet by the benches in front of the main desk at 7:00pm for introductions and team up. If you get there late, just find us on the walls.

If you are new to the gym, you will need to take a belay test for top-roping. A day pass is $20. Check out http://www.planetgranite.com for more details and directions.

Join us for fun climbing and a great workout at one of the best gyms in the area.

I'm pretty new to this area. I've only been indoor climbing a couple times. I haven't yet had a belay class. I was thinking about going to this meetup. Are you guys open to helping out beginners?

You don't need a belay partner to take the belay class. They will teach knots and safety check things. You should call a gym and make a reservation like Behnam said. After taking the belay class, you need to take the belay test. You can't take the test the same day, but you can still climb that day.

I couldn't sign up for a class today since they're all booked out, the closest I could get was on the 17th, so I guess I'll be seeing you guys in a few days :)

I'm going to be starting the basic rock climbing course here tomorrow if I can get a slot, in which case hope to meet people from the group there and learn a little more about rock climbing, hope everyone's long weekend was fun

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
