Starbase Leicester is a social hub of people from all walks of life, that enjoy anything and everything Science Fiction and Fantasy related. If you're into books, movies, gaming, roleplaying, steampunk, writing, conventions, anime/manga or anything else inbetween, you'll be able to find someone to talk to at one of the many social events that we hold each year.

We love meeting new people, making new friends and having fun at the same time, something which we've been doing as a group since 2005. We provide a good mix of activities for our members, utilising their ideas to form future events, so if someone wants to do something, we'll certainitly be up for giving it a go.

We also like to give back to the community each year, often partaking in sponsored events for various charities, such as Abseiling and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge or maybe just armed to the teeth with collection buckets and a handful of stickers.
