The purpose of this MeetUp group is to provide group shooting opportunities, discussion, learning opportunities, networking and peer critique to photographers of varying skill levels in South Central Alaska. We invite all individuals interested in Digital & Film Photography who are interested in practicing their skills in a social and group environment. We are very open to hearing ideas for events and would like to have at least a few events a month where we trip those shutters and not just talk about doing it. So please send in any ideas you may have! A location doesn't have to be 'grand' to make it interesting and a good subject; but lets take advantage of the outdoors though while the weather is great. Ideas Might Include: Botanical Gardens, Downtown Anchorage, Search for the Aurora 'North' Trips, Chasing Wildlife, Group Studio Shoots (with volunteer or hired Models).
