Duncan DeVore, on CQRS and Event Sourcing

Duncan will be bringing everyone up to speed on Command Query Responsibility Separation (CQRS) and Event Sourcing.

Location will be Viridity Energy, once again. (Might as well make it convenient for the speaker...)

Wingspan is buying the pizza, so be sure to thank Jason Feingold.

A real eye opener showing it is not always best to jam every job requiring storage of data into into a RDBMS.
Now I wonder if everything should be Event Sourcing.

Really enjoyed the presentation and group discussion. I took notes, so I'm sure I'll be plagiarizing some of the material.

George, I'd love to say, "Yes." However, my video camera is currently inoperative. If someone else has one, though, I'm happy to supply a tripod, and I'm happy to encode the resulting video and post it to the PHASE Vimeo account.

Will this be recorded? I've been looking into CQRS for work lately and would love to see this. I wish I could there in person.
