What languages do you speak/study?
I speak English, Spanish, Swedish, and some Portuguese.
Are you a beginner (can't carry a conversation) or intermediate (can stumble through a conversation) or advanced (can get though most conversations up to being entirely fluent)?
Advanced (but rusty) native speaker.
What sort of events are you hoping to attend?
I am interested in attending both Swedish conversation groups with native and advanced speakers as well as Scandinavian cultural events in the DC Metro Area. I wouldn't mind an occasional trip to IKEA either.
Are you a language learner or expatriate?
Expatriate & Language Learner: I was born in Stockholm, Sweden but moved to the States when I was 3 years old. Although I'm a native speaker, I know I still have a lot to learn/refresh (i.e. grammar, spelling and vocab.)
