Maggi McConnell is a human resources professional who loves solving other peoples' problems. Her expertise in recruiting, workforce management, training and diversity issues perfectly complement her background as an employment law paralegal. Maggi has been a guest speaker on career matters for the Paralegal Certification programs at the University of Washington, UW Tacoma Extension and Highline Community College, as well as for the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle. Her friendly, common-sense approach to HR has been lauded by clients and colleagues alike. Maggi started her HR consulting business, Hire Or Be Hired, in 2009.
Andrea Porter co-owned owned Bluebottle Art Gallery and Store from 2002 - 2010. Bluebottle built a reputation for being at the forefront of the DIY indie art, craft and design movement. From 2006 - 2010 Andrea managed four internship positions. Each intern completed a minimum 6 internship. She has experience in interviewing, training and managing interns. She currently is co -managing two internships for an upcoming small business conference (www.creativeconferencewest.com)
Kristen Rask is the owner of Schmancy in downtown Seattle. Schmancy opened up in 2004 and since then Kristen has had several interns and employees and learned a lot about both along the way.
