This meetup aims to develop participants' ability to create compelling experiences which reveal some aspect of a scientific or technical subject. Science and technical subjects have a reputation for being dry and boring. It's undeserved: we're the ones making it dry and boring.

Partly inspired by Toastmasters (http://www.toastmasters.org/), each session is focused on understanding the elements that combine to create powerful learning and teaching experiences, whether in demos or lectures or physical objects or whatever.

"My background is in chemical physics and nanotechnology research and I'm always interested in meeting and discussing science with cool people. I'm also into science outreach so I'm excited to get together and figure out how to electrify science!"
