February Lates: The Science of Music

Science Museum (map)

Selected By: A former member

This month Lates analyses the science of music!
http://www.sciencemus...

Join us to discover how mathematics and music go together in unexpected ways, then find out how music really affects your brain with researchers from Goldsmiths, University of London in the latest of our Centenary Talks strand.

All that plus the science of dance in Dance and the Rhythm of Life, breakdancing demos, silent disco, Pub Quiz, Punk Science, and the aforementioned KaraUke. Yes, sing your favourite songs with a backing band of finely-tuned ukuleles.

As usual, the Science Museum Lates Meetup group is a pretty open affair, and you don't have to meet up if you don't want to, however I'll be at Lates this month - after missing January's events - and should you want to pop by and say hi (and form a group to tour the Museum) I'll be at the corner of the ground floor box office and the cafe between 7.15-7.30pm. Come and say hi!

See you on Wednesday and if you have any questions get in touch!
