Start the festive season early at this month's Lates
, next Wednesday evening. Celebrate all the cracking things about the yuletide period, a whole month before you eat your first sprout.
Find out what motivates us to go shopping, especially in the run up to Christmas with consumer psychologist Catherine Jansson-Boyd; witness Punk Science investigating the science of the festive period; see what King George III used to get in his stocking as we look through his magnificent scientific play things; and what could be more Christmassy than party games? Get involved with an epic game of pass the parcel.
And of course we'll have the usual Lates traditions - the silent disco in the Flight Gallery, gallery tours, the pub quiz, brass rubbing, live music and more.
And of course, you're very welcome to come along and join us!
I'll be around throughout the evening however if you would like to meet I'll be standing at near the main desk and the Revolution cafe on the ground floor at 7.30pm. If you don't see me, I hope you have a great festive fun at Lates!
See you on Wednesday,
Peer Lawther on behalf of the Science Museum
P.S. There's no Lates next month, so we return for more fun in January.
