Weston Ochse signs Seal Team 666 at Mysterious Galaxy (Clairemont)

Dec 22

Weston Ochse signs Seal Team 666.

RSVP on Facebook.

Halfway through SEAL training, Cadet Jack Walker, still green but showing incredible promise, is whisked away to join four SEALs--and their dog--for a special ops mission. Walker soon finds himself in a whirlwind of otherworldly creatures and events as he finds out the true nature of this "special ops" team: SEAL Team 666. Battling demons, possessed humans, mass-murdering cults, and evil in its most dark and primeval form, SEAL Team 666 has their work cut out for them. And it's not long before they realize that the threat isn't just directed against the U.S.--an ancient and deadly cult has bigger plans, and Walker is at the center of a supernatural conflict with the entire world at stake.

About the Author

Weston Ochse's first story was published when he was seven. The backlash of this first literary effort caused the elementary school to recall their newspaper at the behest of irate parents. One day he hopes to achieve this sort of acclaim again. Since then, he's written five novels, a slew of short stories and articles that have appeared in comic books, professional writing guides, magazines and anthologies. He won the Bram Stoker award for Superior Achievement in First Novel in 2005, was nominated for the Pushcart Prize for Fiction in 2003, and won the Buffalo Screams International Film Festival Original Screenplay Competition. He was born in Wyoming, raised in Eastern Tennessee, and now lives in Southern Arizona with his wife, Yvonne Navarro, and three Great Danes. For entertainment he races tarantula wasps, wrestles rattlesnakes, and watches Border Patrol Death Race 2000.

(Ochse is pronounced 'oaks,' or as Harlan Ellison once said, "Weston Ochse, sounds like a nursing home or a trailer park." Thanks Harlan.)
