We'll start with Episode 2 of "Quatermass", and then dive into Fritz Lang's landmark 1929 silent film "Woman in the Moon":
"It's the granddaddy of all rocket trip movies and is noted for its realism about rockets; the moon, not so much. Pioneer rocket scientist Hermann Oberth was a technical advisor." - Dave Rankin
The evening will conclude with "Radar Men" part 2: did Commando Cody survive moon-man Retik's raygun blast? Will he escape to warn Earth?
The main feature is nearly 3 hours long, so we'll start the films *promptly* at 7. If you arrive late, be sure to knock loudly!
Bring your ideas for our future viewing schedule; suggestions for both specific movies and general themes are equally welcome.
And feel free to also bring snacks for sharing!
