See 'Dracula' at a ruined asylum - Such Fun!

http://www.chesapeakeshakespeare.com/tickets.html

http://www.chesapeakeshakespeare.com/faqs.html

NOTE: This is an outdoor event that will involve walking. Please see the FAQ linked to above. Saturdays are all sold out, so consider geting a ticket soon!

Rest by day, then come out at night when Chesapeake Shakespeare Company presents Dracula as movable outdoor theater October 4 through Halloween, in the haunted (?) ruins of the PFI Historic Park. Our Movable Performances are incredibly popular and often completely sell out, so make sure to order your tickets early.

For an unforgettable night of sophisticated and spooky fun, you won't want to miss Dracula as the former Patapsco Female Institute above Historic Ellicott City’s Main Street will house Dr. Seward’s sanatorium, lovely Miss Lucy’s boudoir, and a mysterious old vault. Audiences will walk from scene to scene with the actors, as the mysterious Count Dracula exerts his fatal charm. Written by the vampire-obsessed William Shakespeare in 1599 . . . just kidding! Adapted from Bram Stoker’s novel by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, this is the version of the Dracula tale made famous on stage and film by the actor Bela Lugosi.

Wear walking shoes and dress in layers, as for a football game: When darkness shrouds the ruins, you will want to shield your neck from the chill of the night or perhaps from Dracula’s fangs….

Hi all! So I've seen two addresses listed for the event - 3655 Church Rd and 3691 Sarah's Lane - both in Elicot City. It's not clear to be which is the parking lot and which is the venue. Luckily they're very close by each other. I will go to Church Rd first and try to post back once I know which is which.

I suggest we meet up at 5:30 in the Howard County Courthouse Parking Lot and then head up as a group. I will try to get there a little early to scopt out the lay of the land.

Can those going please re-confirm so that I can know how many folks to look for? I'll have a SciFi Fantasy Outpost sign along with me so we can meet up. I will e-mail my cell phone number.

Don't forget this is an outdoor event, so dress in layers and warmly. Bring a flash light, and it looks like an umbrella just in case!
