Contrary to popular belief, the drive-in movie experience is STILL ALIVE IN KICKING in Southern California!  Many of our favorite D/I's have long been turned into Wal-Marts, strip malls, car dealerships, swap meets, housing developments or just plain abandoned.  But, believe it or not there are 8 (YES...8!) drive-in theatres still open, still operating, still showing double features across Southern California.  SoCal Drive-In Movie Fanatics - the newest spinoff of the long running Meetup group SoCal Movie Fanatics - is proud to lend our support and spread the word about these remaining D/I's from the desert to the sea to all of Southern California! It is our desire to help keep these fabulous venues open and operating for generations to come.
