Can you confirm that you have read the "About Scottish Hillwalking & Activities Group" section of the website available by clicking on the "Pages" menu option or at ?

Yes - read all that.

Please give some indication of your walking experience, i.e. total beginner, just local hills, Munros (roughly how many), winter experience, scrambling, foreign trips?

Keen mountain walker - about 100 Munros. Keen scrambler (Aonach Eagach, Curved Ridge, Garbh Bheinn of Ardgour etc).

Can you indicate your rock climbing experience (if not relevant please put "None") - i.e. how long have you been climbing, how current are you, types of climbing, rough grades and some idea of equipment held.

No real climbing experience. Some experience in use of crampons and ice axe.

What kind of walks/climbs would you like to do?

Really enjoy a bit of scrambling and love a good ridge walk

Where are your favourite or preferred places for walking/climbing?

Glen Coe is my favourite although if a good fairy gave me a wish it would be to climb the Cobbler again FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.

61 year old hillwalker - I prefer a view when I get to the top if you could arrange the good weather please. Thank you.

What Alastair M. is saying about this Meetup Group

I've walked with this group may times now. No matter what the walk, or what the mix of people I've always enjoyed my days out. I commend this group to you all.
