Can you confirm that you have read the "About Scottish Hillwalking & Activities Group" section of the website available by clicking on the "Pages" menu option or at http://www.meetup.com/scottish-hillwalkers/about/ ?

Yes

Please give some indication of your walking experience, i.e. total beginner, just local hills, Munros (roughly how many), winter experience, scrambling, foreign trips?

Been walking since I was very young and seem to have got the hang of it... I've been up lots of hills & mountains including trips to the Alps, Arctic & Himalayas.

Can you indicate your rock climbing experience (if not relevant please put "None") - i.e. how long have you been climbing, how current are you, types of climbing, rough grades and some idea of equipment held.

I have a solid steel carabiner at home. It weighs a ton and never gets used but it's there to remind me that retreating off an Alp can be a good idea. I'm out whenever the weathers nice mainly trad climbing up to about E1 in the summer (I have a great midge hat) & winter climbing up to Scottish 3/4 in the, ummmm, winter...

What kind of walks/climbs would you like to do?

Umm... long scary tiring muddy mucky ones.

Where are your favourite or preferred places for walking/climbing?

All of them.

Introduction

I like trying to go up...
