Can you confirm that you have read the "About Scottish Hillwalking & Activities Group" section of the website available by clicking on the "Pages" menu option or at http://www.meetup.com/scottish-hillwalkers/about/ ?

Yes I have.

Please give some indication of your walking experience, i.e. total beginner, just local hills, Munros (roughly how many), winter experience, scrambling, foreign trips?

~40 munros, half in winter. Enjoy scrambling but no foreign walking trips as yet.

Can you indicate your rock climbing experience (if not relevant please put "None") - i.e. how long have you been climbing, how current are you, types of climbing, rough grades and some idea of equipment held.

Been climbing 6 years, lots of indoor and outdoor bouldering and seconding. Can lead and have rack but don't enjoy it, prefer to second harder stuff. Have done some multipitch and some climbing abroad.

What kind of walks/climbs would you like to do?

I'm a fair weather walker, I do it for the view! I like climbing in new places and seconding hard routes.

Where are your favourite or preferred places for walking/climbing?

Anywhere at all, as much as possible really.

Introduction

I love getting outdoors, taking photos and meeting people so anything that allows all those together has got to be good.
