I sailed O'Day Wigeons on the Potomac in my teens, gave up my sailing dreams for decades, decided to call them back about 8 years ago, took my first week-long cruise on the Bay in June '07, became the leader of Sea Scout Ship 7916 in Occoquan and took teens sailing on the Potomac and the Bay, have taught for Woodbridge Sailing School, helped crew a tall ship for 15 days and about 1,000 mi. from NYC to Charleston, serve as sailing coach for Sea Scout Ship 100, member of Quantico Yacht Club.
USCGA "America's Boating Course," 3/08.
Thinking about joining SCOW and figure this could be a good way to find out more about the group beforehand.
A friendly group that has nice boats and handles them and the event well.
