Scrabble and Noodles...date changed!

Hi Everyone,
As most of you know (and many of you mentioned) we usually meet on Fridays at Noodles & Co. Originally, there was a conflict that necessitated the Thursday date, but that's now been resolved, so let's go back to Friday! Hope all of you can still make it!

We're heading to one of our most popular spots, the fabulous Noodles and Company in Pentagon Row (Metro: Pentagon City). We'll be meeting at our usual 6pm start time, and as always, if you're a little late you may have to wait for a new game to begin. That will leave time to eat, drink and get to know your fellow Scrabblers. If you have a board and/or dictionary and/or cheat sheet, please bring those along. Newbies and veterans, we want to see all of you!!

Directions from Metro: For those of you who haven't been to this location, it can be a tiny bit tricky to get to. Basically, you want to come up into the Pentagon City Fashion Center from the Metro (that's a left turn once you come through the turnstiles). Once you go through Fashion Center doors and up the escalator, keep heading straight, towards the parking garage. (You'll pass a Chevy Chase Bank on your left, food court on the right). Go through the garage, turn left when you can't walk anymore, go up the stairs and cross over into Pentagon Row.

Got there late, but still got a game in, and I won for a change. Then, even better, six of us went next door to Champp's for karaoke, and I sang three times. LOL

I'll be back (and with more confidence)! I come from a family with a Scrabble player that rakes in more than 20 points ev-ry turn, and since it's not genetic...an inferiority complex follows me. Kidding!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
