Hi, Asad.  I tried to leave you a phone message earlier this evening, 
but I don't know whether you got it, as you may not still be using the 
number on the business card you gave me.  Anyhow, sorry I couldn't make 
it to Scrabble tonight to wish you a happy send-off.  We had an 
emergency meeting at my condo that ended around 9:00.  But I wanted to 
be sure to wish you a safe trip and a wonderful experience in Germany.  
It was really nice of you to agree to drive me to Bethesda for Scrabble, 
even though we never ended up going at the same time.  I enjoyed playing 
Scrabble with you, and I wish you much luck.
