The group is a place for Scrabblers in Hong Kong to meet for face-to-face games of Scrabble (which is still much better than playing online). We also occasionally co-ordinate the Scrabble Meetups to follow a relatively easy hike organised through HongKongHikers.org, and we often play al fresco if the weather is suitable. Most of our venues are restaurants, bars or cafes, and we ask that players order at least one or two items from them when we use their facilities.
Meetups are organised on weekends, holidays and, occasionally, midweek. Players of all ages and levels are welcome, but please note that Scrabble is NOT a good way for you to improve your English. If that is your objective then one of the language exchange meetup groups would be better.
FYI Here's the link to the two scrabble word lists (SOWPODS used outside North America and TWL - used mainly in North America) we normally use in our games:

Note: If you sign up for an event, please remember to change your RSVP if you subsequently change your mind. People who no-show (i.e. don't turn up when their RSVP is yes) twice will generally be removed from the group.
