Hi Gang,

The Tampa Scuba Diving Group invites you to join us on a very cool 2 tank afternoon/night dive on the Sheridan Wreck, Saturday October 12th, 2013.  The Sheridan is a 130' intact ocean tug boat which teems with numerous species of fish.

We will meet at the Seminole Marina at 3:30p.m. and launch at 4:00p.m. for the ride to the Sheridan.  We'll be diving with Captain T.J. on the new 42' Dorado. The first dive will be a twilight dive to familiarize yourself with the site while it is still daylight.  After our surface interval, we will reposition the boat over the wreck, cilp on lights and a strobe and head down the line for our night dive. The Sheridan is 22 miles off Clearwater beach in 78' of water with the pilot house reaching to 45' from the surface. The wreck leans to the right with the deck between 55'-65' with the propeller in the sand. This is the perfect site for recreational divers wanting to advance their skills and move to the next level.

Large by Supreme Savings">schools of Jacks, Snapper, and Huge Goliath grouper frequent this dive site. The Sheridan is easily one of the best dives in the Gulf, alive with incredible sea life, it offers phenomenal photo opportunities. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your camera!

Requirements for this dive: All divers must have 1 Primary light, back-up light, tank light(glow stick), and surface marker for this dive.

We always have a great time with Captain TJ  and 2 Shea Charters!

The dives were very good. It was interesting to see the difference between the day and the night dives at the same place. It was almost like being at a different dive site.

The night dive on the Sheridan was one of my top ten most favorite dives of all time. So incredibly spooky to see all the night sea creatures crawling on the Sheridan.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
