Dive Blue Heron Bridge 6-28

Tim and Casey are planning a dive at Blue Heron Bridge (Phil Foster Park).  It is best to dive this site at HIGH SLACK TIDE.

The tide will be about 1:15 PM most divers enter the water about 30 min prior to the tide and dive to about 30 - 45 minutes after the tide.

Meet in the parking lot at Phil Foster State Park. Look for my pickup truck (will have a white stick with a dive flag on it standing up from the back of the truck).

After the dive we usually go somewhere for late lunch / early supper.  We usually decide this at the site.

This is a one tank dive (most people dive an AL 80). Water temps will be warm (82+).  Maximum depth is 20 fsw.

For This Dive YOU WILL NEED:

To provide all their own gear.  There is a dive shop near the site (ForceE) who will rent tanks (be sure to call ahead to reserve a tank), a safety sausage, underwater flash light (for looking under objects) and a surface dive marker/flag (see example in the picture) are strongly recommended.
