The Lake Mary Scuba Club Monthly Meetup

This will be our regular monthly meeting.  We typically meet on the 1st Monday of every Month, beginning at 7PM and ending around 8:30PM.

We'll talk about past dives, future dives and encourage members to share pictures and/or videos from recent dives.  We also devote time to safety, tips and tricks on diving, and anything else our members want to talk about.

The monthly meetings are a great time to meet other divers and to plan your next dive.  Many people claim not to dive because they don't have a dive buddy.  We are here to help!   We are a dive club of active divers at all skill levels.  We love to dive, and are always looking for a chance to get wet.

Our meetings are open to all divers and anyone interested in learning how to dive!

Always dive within your training!

Allen did a great presentation on a few of the Clubs favorite wreck dive sites. The slides showing the vital statistics such as depth to deck as well as depth to sand brought out the fact that all five of these first in a series dives are available to just about any diver. Not an AOW diver? Then don't go to the sand. Plenty to see at the depths you are certified for. And not all wrecks are deep. The Copenhagen is a good basic dive off Pompano Beach that can be drift or static (check the tides) and is in only 12'-30' of water.
There is plenty of camaraderie at the meetings. Input and ideas from everyone.
Bill made everyone drool over his report of his involvement with Scuba Pro Days event. He got to try out several pieces of the latest and greatest gear, straight from the manufacturer, with reps on hand for detailed info and learned all sorts of tips and tricks for taking better care of
your own gear.... which he graciously passed along to us! Thanks Bill!
