The SCUBADILLO Dive Club’s 30th Anniversary & Halloween Roatan Dive Trip!

When: October 25 – November 1, 2014
Where: Luxurious Media Luna Resort (all inclusive) in the middle of Roatan, Honduras

One big celebration – Besides celebrating the Scubadillo’s 30th Anniversary during Halloween, we will also be joining Wreck Diving Magazine’s 10thAnniversary Bash at the resort for a fun-filled week. Scubadillo members David Prichard and Lily Mak (also Contributing Editors to Wreck Diving Magazine) will be leading the trip with options for workshops covering wreck diving, photography, and more.
Trip includes: •7 nights and 5 days of 3-tank boat diving
•Unlimited shore and night shore diving (right off the famous Calvin’s Crack dive site)
•Halloween Costume Contest (best costume and most original) with major prizes
•All meals and beverages (soft drinks, juices, house wine, domestic beer and liquor)
•Transfers from the airport to the resort and back
•Air fills, tanks, weights and dive lockers
•Live music by Pup Morse, The Scuba Cowboy
Not included in the trip price:
Airfare to Roatan (airport code – RTB, flights available directly into Roatan), airport departure fee of $35, premium drinks, Nitrox, rental gear andinstruction, resort and diving gratuities, optional diving and sightseeing tours (boat night dive, shark dive, dolphin dive, Barbareta Deserted Island 3-dive package with steak & lobster dinner, zip-line adventure, and other activities)
Trip Price* (includes 16% taxes):
Double Occupancy (DO) - $1,259 per diver
Single Occupancy (SO) - $1,491 per diver
Non-Diver: $1,027 DO, $1,259 SO
Extra-day with diving: $166 DO, $199 SO
*Amount is cash price. If paying by credit card, add 3% to price.
Dive insurance is mandatory. Trip insurance is optional, but strongly suggested.
The Resort - The Media Luna Hotel is made up of a plethora of detached villas that are luxurious and spacious, separated from the lobby and entertainment area of the hotel to ensure maximum relaxation and privacy. The lobby and entertainment area is a relaxing and serene place to check emails, get a drink or just watch the ocean. Rooms available include: Single (king bed), Double (two queen beds), and Triple (king and one single bed). Each room is furnished with a spa-like private bathroom and hot water and equipped with a fridge, hair dryer, air-conditioning, private safe, and satellite television. Each of the rooms have a private balcony/patio with hammock, hard wood floors and comfortable furniture if you want to spend some time in your room. There are a limited number of spaces available for this trip, so sign up ASAP before they are all gone. A $400 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot on this trip or you can pay the full amount.

    Hi, It is not just wreck diving. There are several different organizations that will be down there. Several different boats going different places and shore diving. Call David so he can give you more information. The Airfare has gone back up but it is sure to come back down. Come to the meeting this Thursday and he can tell you all about it.
