Hi Bonnie!

I was wondering about joining the Scuba & Underwater Photographers Meetup group. How much experience do you need? I'm not a certified diver and I've never done underwater photography. I also don't have the right equipment. Can I still join? I have a Canon 40D...and I'm a mid-level experienced photographer...is this ok?

I have been diving for over 20 years, but this is my first underwater photography trip; so I am really looking forward to it. I already have my airline ticket! I want to try out the camera in the next couple of weekends prior to the trip. Do you if anyone is going from S. Florida?
