Are you doing a live aboard? Based on my experience if you stay in Puerto Ayora, other than diving around around the bay there pretty much every other dive site the dive operators take you to is a long boat ride from Puerto Ayora, at least an hour out.

I was there last April. I got some great photos just from snorkeling. Pretty unique experience to be in the waters practically on the equator and be swimming next to penguins. I was supposed to do dives for 4 days out of Puerto Ayora but only got 1 day in due to developing a very nasty cough so I did a couple more days of just snorkeling trips. I'm thinking next time it is a live aboard for going there.
