Hi! I've been looking for someone to knit with for a while, so I'm glad my daughter made me sign up on Ravelry so I could find you!
How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?
I've been knitting off and on since I was a kid. I'm just learning to make socks on one long circular needle.
What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?
I'll knit anything, but mostly sweaters. I usually make gifts for people.
How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?
My mom taught me to knit when I was a kid. I like working with my hands. I've quilted, done needlework, but I keep coming back to knitting. It's portable, and you can do it almost anywhere.
What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?
I am trying to figure out how to knit without a pattern from the top down. I like knitting in the round, and recently discovered that top down knitting lends itself to better fitting garmets.
