How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?

I have been knitting for 8 years. "You Tube - taught"! I initially learned to knit with the American "throw" method, now I'm learning the Continental technique.

What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?

I like to knit hats, scarves, shawls, hand warmers and sweaters. I keep them and give them away in equal amounts (more or less).

How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?

I learned to knit from the rich resource of the internet. You Tube mostly, and I caught the bug because knitting was a big, big deal (culturally) 8 years ago. But I'd always wanted to learn.

What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?

I want to learn the Continental technique because it seems more efficient than the way I learned (Throw method). I'd also like to learn color work - I've not done that yet.
