How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?

Hate to reveal it - about 50 years. I've always knitted and taken some hard knocks when I was young but stuck to it because I love it so much - I love intricate cables and lace knitting

What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?

I pretty much give everything I make away although I have some lace scarves I've kept.

How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?

My mother taught me when I was 7 - she was an avid knitter and I could tell she thoroughly relaxed when she was knitting

What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?

Intarsia is my headache - I can't seem to get the guages right and the color strading becomes too loose. Would also love to learn how to manipulate space dyed yarns to pool the colors

Hello fellow fiber artists! So glad to make your acquaintance.
