Hi, I'm Chase! I love all kinds of fiber art and needlework, but crochet and knitting are my favorites!
I've been knitting for about 5 years, and I just finished my first self-made pattern for a baby cardigan!
I sell and give most of what I make. I'm obsessed with seed stitch and am working on a big wrap for myself.
I started the Oakland Stitch & Bitch group many years ago and the lovely ladies that came helped me learn (that and a book designed for 7-year-olds). I love keeping at least one project on the needles at all times.
I definitely need help with cables as it's the last knitting technique I have yet to try.
Hi. This group came up under "sewing" but it appears to be more of a knitting/crochet group. Is there any sewing going on? If not, do you know of any sewing groups? I'd love to get together with other people to share tips/company while working on projects.
Chase: Regrets, but I find that I'm going to be working a lot and not able to make Tuesday meetings. I'll be happy to come back when my schedule opens up again - I really enjoyed meeting the women that were there last week. Thank you again for organizing this group. Christine Tinga
Hi there! I've been following this Meetup for a while but haven't joined since I'm really into sewing right now :) I saw on your blog that you occasionally sew - any chance of having a sewing meet up? Would love to help organize that! -tram
Have a wonderful vacation!
Thank you for your time and efforts. I appreciate you helping me learn to knit. I know you are going to be a successful business woman.
Hi chase! see you next week, I emailed dinah about the machine if she brings it give me a call and maybe I can come down after 8...[masked] thank you, alison
I'm so sorry I couldn't make the event. I am in cat hell right now, and had to take one of my kids to the vet. It sucked all the air out of me for the evening. I really hope you'll invite me again...I really want to come! Katie
Chase...you are awesome!...Seriously! Is there anything that you can't do? Cooking, knitting, sewing, drawing, painting, singing....= awesome! Thanks for inviting me to the group! You are a constant source of inspiration!
Congratulations on starting a Meetup group! This is an awesome way to connect with other fiber artist in your area! I love your photos and page layout! I work for Meetup and we're here to help.
