This is a cross-posted event with the Android Developers Group:
Hello Android Group,
I'm very excited to announce the details of our next meetup on Wednesday, April 16 at Coleman College! This is one meeting you will not want to miss!
Matthew DuPuy is a Software Engineer at ARM. ARM is a multinational semiconductor and software design firm that dominates the market for processors embedded in smart phones and tablets. Their technology lies at the core of 95% of the world's smartphones and a sizable share of digital TVs and set-top boxes. Licensees of ARM's technology include Apple (iPhone/iPad), Samsung, Nokia, HTC and Sony Ericsson.
Matthew will share his expertise in performing application and systems level analysis on Android apps and platforms using tools from Google, ARM, AT&T and others. He will explain how to find bottlenecks in both SDK and NDK activities and demonstrate different approaches to fixing those bottlenecks and better utilize platform technologies and APIs.
In summary, if you want to develop an Android app that runs quickly and efficiently you must attend this meeting!
Please note the venue change for our group! This meeting will be at Coleman College in Kearny Mesa near the 163 and Balboa. Rod Weiss and the super nice people at Coleman have offered us their excellent facilities for this and future meetups. We will be meeting in Hopper Hall at Coleman. So don't show up at Dell because no one will be there!
