Job Function: This position involves research and development of a client/server implementation of the Facebook Connect and other API?s for use in Android, BREW, iPhone and Java clients. This requires an individual with a strong understanding of the Facebook API set, especially the Connect API, and the know how to create a client/server application which wraps the necessary API?s. Candidate should be comfortable working under the pressure of deadlines.
Selected candidate will work with existing client and a server team
Skills/Experience - Strong knowledge of Facebook API?s, especially Facebook Connect - Strong knowledge of Android?s software development kit required (API level 5 and 7) and the Android debug tools - Familiarity with the BREW development environment and SDK - Familiarity with the iPhone development environment and SDK - Familiarity with developing in a Linux environment - Demonstrable experience with Facebook API?s preferably on a published, live application - Strong Java development and debugging skills required. - Strong C/C++ development and debugging skills is a plus - Adobe ActionScript knowledge a plus

Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are for developers who are interested in Google's developer technology; everything from the Android, App Engine, and Google Chrome platforms, to product APIs like the Maps API, YouTube API and Google Calendar API.
A GDG can take many forms -- from just a few people getting together to watch our latest video, to large gatherings with demos and tech talks, to events like code sprints and hackathons. However, at the core, GDGs are focused on developers and technical content, and the core audience should be developers.
