Join us for our first GTUG (Google Technology User Group) meetup Wednesday July 1st. Let's discuss some of the great topics that were covered at GoogleIO and please bring your new Android phone if you have one. We have had several people interested in Android development, Google's APIs and AppEngine. A few of you have offered to present at the meetup so please email me directly and I'll work out an agenda. Let's plan to meetup around 6:30, do some networking and then begin at 7PM.

AGENDA:
- Michael Martin from Google Android Blog will be talking about monetization of mobile applications.

- Lightning Talks: Anyone interested in demo'ing whatever they're working in is welcome to present to the group, just let me know the topic.
- 1 Freshbooks, Appengine, Google Maps API mashup
- 2 How to "free hosting on appengine"

- Google Wave Hackathon: The google wave team is giving developers google wave sandbox accounts who plan to participate in the wave hackathon. Details to be discussed at meeting.

Thanks to GoCipher for letting us use their conference room and thanks to Stephanie over at GTUG headquarters who has sent out a bunch of cool GTUG stickers to give away :-)

It was a great initial meeting that enabled us to get familiar with the people. We also now have a starting point to create a Wave extension.
    •  Excellent meeting! Thanks to Sam and Joe and all attendees.
    •  Great group of people, looking forward to more meetups. Thank you all for coming!
    •  More than I expected. I'm totally energized and excited after listening to the speakers
    •  Here is the link to the Google Wave Presentation I mentioned in the meeting. It's a great introduction to Google Wave and shows off it's amazing features. You will be impressed if you can sit through the 1hr 20min video and should have a much better understanding of the features and power of Google Wave when finished.
