"Taste of Asia" is an annual charity program hosted by diverse Asian community organizations collaborating to present an entertaining public event to benefit various charitable organizations assisting the less fortunate. The event includes food tasting, cultural activities and ethic entertainments.

This event will showcase the goodwill collaboration of over ten organizations to present the best offerings from Asia. Guest will be able to enjoy delicious food prepared by over 15 local authentic restaurants from different Asian cultures. These includes Shogun Kobe, Golden City, Bali Thai, Dede's, Saigon on Fifth, Phuong Trang, etc. Interactive cultural and educational activities, and amazing live ethnic entertainments will be available throughout the event.

As an added bonus to our program, restaurants also donated 10% discount for 2 month so our guests can redeem the TOA ticket for much valuable price discount. TOA also partner with Balboa Park Museums so our guests would also be able to redeem ticket for $2 general admission discount at participating Museums.

This year, the event is slated for September 27th at the International Cottages in Balboa Park. We are inviting you, and your family to join us for this charitable day at Balboa Park. While you enjoy the food and cultural performances, you will also know that the money you spent will be donated for worthwhile cause. TOA is a fully volunteer-based program, and 100% of all proceeds are donated to charitable program in Asia. This year, our primary project is to rebuilt schools for underprivileged children who were affected by the 5.12. China earthquake.
