Scooter Toy Run

On Sunday December 16th 2012 at 10am please join us for The Scooter Toy Run to the San Diego Center for Children.

Every year, Vespa Motorsport along with First Lady Rana Sampson and the Scooter Squadron hold the "Scooter Toy Run", where we gather donations of toys, clothes, and other gifts for the kids who live at the Center for Children. The Center houses children of all ages (up to 17) and in addition to living there throughout the year, many of these kids cannot be with family over the holidays. At this time of year, we at Vespa Motorsport like to recognize the efforts of the Center for Children and to gather our friends together to bring some cheer to these deserving kids.

To participate, please bring one unwrapped donation, a toy or gift, for a child at the Center. (See the wish list below). You can bring your donation to the shop beforehand or carry it on your scooter for a fun run to the center.

We're meeting 10AM at Vespa Motorsport and "stands up" at 11AM, We plan to be at the center around noon (3002 Armstrong Street). I will be making my world famous waffles before the ride, so your belly will be all full of joy for this awesome ride around beautiful San Diego "America's Finest Scooter City"!

This is an amazing event and we want to get as many people involved as possible. It's a nice way to recognize a worthwhile local nonprofit and to keep some of the lesser fortunate kids in our community in mind.

We hope to see you there, but if you can't make it you can also bring by your toy donation to Vespa Motorsport anytime before the event and will haul them to the center for you.

This was a great day. The ride itself was great, but we could have ridden around the block once and if we ended up at the Center, it would still have been the best ride of the year.
