Modus Bar and Supper Club (map)
Join us to celebrate as SDBloggers celebrates its one year anniversary.
This event is sure to be our biggest and most spirited meetup to date.
We plan on unveiling the new SDBloggers website at the event.
We will also be giving away SDBloggers T-Shirts to the first 25 members that blog about the event.
There will be a hosted happy hour for the first hour, and happy hour prices from 8:30 to close.
Special prize for the 200th member of SDBloggers! Stay tuned to find out.
I'm looking forward to going to my very first meetup group!
Thanks to Ann for introducing me to this! See everyone on Tuesday!
Hey, I've never been to Modus. What should we expect tomorrow? Will we have a room of our own away from the main room, or are we just taking over the entire place? Will we be sitting at tables, or standing around a bar?
I just posted a short blog about the party on my web site:
By the way, my web site and blog haven't been interactive at this point, but I recently upgraded from Movable Type 2.x to MT 4.21, hoping to add comments and the whole interactive works! I haven't had time to figure much of it out yet, though, and all I've done is post a small test site at http://www.shycloud.com/new_blog/
. If you're running a blog with Movable Type of any version, I'd love to chat with you Tuesday night!
I'll be brining my camera and taking free headshots for people!

sorry had a freelance deadline, couldn't make it. see ya next time
I second "need name tags". But I had fun. Learned a couple things about blogging and twitter. Not bad for joining only today. Thanks for hosting Matt. Very cool.
You know, one thing I've noticed about this group is that very few people seem to reply to the post-Meetup e-mails asking us to rate the events. Almost no one posts opinions about the events after they are over. Why is that? I know it would help me figure out who I met at a name-tag-less event if people who were there would post at least a short message afterward. Please!
I decided to post what I wrote below in our Message Forum, only to discover this group doesn't have a Message Forum! Why is that? Other Meetup groups have them. How come we have no place where we can communicate?
If you are on Facebook, Richie Edquid has a gallery of 57 photos there that he shot at the party. Some of the people in them have been tagged by myself and others, but most of the pictures feature a lot of still-unidentified folks who need to be tagged. If you haven't seen the pics, stop by Richie's Facebook profile and take a look.
Going to be a great time!
