Sunday Game Day at Twiggs on Adams

  • January 27, 2013 · 12:00 PM

Weekly ROTATING Event -- see below...

Come on out and join us for games this Sunday afternoon! Every week we'll be at a different location. We have found some other great new places to play, some of them are now closer to YOU!

It would be great to have some of our newer members join us. If weeknights have not worked out for you, here's a chance to come and meet us.  We'll try to keep it light so that new players will be comfortable. If you're bringing strategy games, please consider the "newbies" -- try to include them in something that won't scare them off! And to all those newbies, we'd love to teach you something new! Think about it (we'll be gentle).  Everyone, come on out and join us!

Please RSVP for yourself and your guest(s). Bring some games, bring a friend, bring a smile.
The places we meet are usually businesses with great Coffees, Teas, Smoothies and Snacks; even sometimes Breakfast and Lunch, so bring your wallet too in case you'd like some refreshment.
Use comments under the event and/or in your RSVP's to communicate with each other about attending, and KEEP CHECKING here for updates from your fellow gamers. I highly recommend that everyone "friend" each other on Facebook and exchange phone numbers for last-minute communications.
Hope you can make it!

Since I know nothing about the location, this "Twiggs", what size of game can their seating support? I have small area games like "Infiltration", but I also have "Tribune", which is like bringing a country.

Hi Trick: Smaller games like the "Infiltration" would work best. It is fairly big but I don't think there would be room for "Tribune" Look forward to seeing you.

Sorry I can't post the location yet, because I haven't irritated enough people by leaving it undecided. hehe

JUST KIDDING, of course. I like planning too, but sometimes planning goes awry, and always I want to offer new locations. You know that sometimes I have set up Sunday locations 2 or 3 weeks ahead, but usually I don't because I'm hoping for more options. That's not to say that I always intend to wait THIS long to post.

    Thanks for your patience, everyone.

AND PLEASE, everyone also feel free to scout out good locations for us to play. Spread out across the county and find places with good tables, good lighting, good food, good ventilation, and good parking. Let me know what you find! Thanks! -- Randy

Hi Randy. I'm with Teresa. As a fellow planner it is helpful to know the Sunday location posted at an earlier time. Thank you.

Randy -- Can we get a location? I think many people hold off on RSVPing until you post the location. Plus, those of us who are planners like to know.
