I have family visiting, however, if their plane leaves early enough, I will trot on down to Chula Vista! ^_^

I wouldn't normally send an email to "All Members" when the subject is so narrow -- "Come and Play on Halloween Day". Usually I would write something on a more general topic like welcoming members, getting ideas, "paying dues", encouraging members to RSVP, introducing future events...

Actually, this email does some of that by making sure everyone is aware of this upcoming event! I'd like to encourage you to RSVP, especially if you're a new member. We do have some 640 members registered, after all, and MOST of you we've never met in person! Come on out! Introduce yourself. Do you have any spooky-themed games with vampires or ghosts or other goblin-y stuff? Bring them, bring a costume or not, and let's play!

AND, for those who have RSVP'd "Maybe" -- come on, don't let us down... Change to a "Yes"! It would be great to have you there!

Sunday Game Day... ON HALLOWE'EN DAY at Mangia Italiano in Chula Vista

It starts at NOON and goes into the night. **Howls** Come when you can, leave when you must. You don't have to be there all day, but... you couuuuld... Come on -- it's better than...

  • hiding from Trick-or-Treaters when you run out of candy
  • bobbing for apples in the neighbor's garage
  • a sharp stick in the eye

Thanks for your time.
