I have a few notes I wanted to get out there:

[join us in Imperial Beach]

Congratulations and Thanks!
Congrats to our group on reaching the Big FIVE OH OH. Wow! 500 members... That's quite a milestone! Thanks so much for your participation. What a fun group. It's so nice to be able to play with such a friendly, easygoing group of people. It makes it easy to stick to our plan of being accessible and inviting to new players, and to share so many fun and interesting games. Thanks also for your occasional offers of a few coins here and a dollar there -- with so many of us in the group, it doesn't take much to help repay our Organizer for Meetup's monthly fee.

Lost and Found
Are you missing a game piece?
This was a special message from Evil Queen: 'Found at Barbara Heckler's house (Barbara's Bunch) after last month's meeting - a small green square stick about 1" long. It could be either one of the roads from "Settlers", or one of the new tracks for the updated "Transamerica" game.'
Also -- I (Randy) have two games that don't belong to me. Call me, email me, IM me. Throw a sheep at me...?

Big group or small, many games or a focus on one game -- game nights can take on many shapes and forms. If you are interested in hosting something at your place, let us know. Have an idea for a special game night? We can set up an event for you here on Meetup. Let us know! ALSO, you probably know we sometimes share events with 3 other longstanding game groups.
These are:

Phoenix and Gamesters are both looking for more host locations. If you have space for fairly large (or even not-so-large) gatherings, maybe you'd like to host? eh? yes?

and FINALLY, re: Imperial Beach...
Maybe you've seen the calendar, but if not, I have a suggestion:
Join us tomorrow, Saturday April 11th 2009 in Imperial Beach for gaming with the Phoenix Games Group.
SDBG is Invited for Saturday Night ?

[and join us in Imperial Beach, or did I say that already?]

Thanks everybody! Oh! and look for me and some of our other game-playing friends on Facebook! Talk to you later!
