Jeffrey Smith Lecture - Speaking out for Healthier Food

The Truth about GMOs. Ever wondered what's in your food?

Approximately 75% of processed foods in the US contain genetically engineered ingredients (also known as genetically modified organisms (gmos), and most of us eat these on a daily basis without even knowing it. Why does it matter? Join us to find out about the growing evidence of health risks from experts Jeffrey M. Smith and Tom Newmark.

Jeffrey Smith, Director, Institute for Responsible Technology, and the leading consumer advocate promoting healthier non-GMO choices; author of the world's bestselling and #1 rated book on the health dangers of GMOs, Seeds of Deception

Tom Newmark, Board Member, Greenpeace, Inc. USA. He is a founder of Sacred Seeds, a sanctuary in Costa Rica dedicated to conserving medicinal plants across the globe.

Hi James, Sorry you'll miss Jeffrey but there's a volunteer meeting tonight at OB Peoples at 6:30 pm. It's upstairs in the small dining room in the back. You can get a lot of free info about GMOs and Prop 37 there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
