Getting the kids involved

San Diego, CA
Post #: 37
Hey Farmers! Check out these amazing nature classes for kids! It's all well and good for us to be doing great work in our gardens, but the way things will really change is if we get the next generation to appreciate nature and accept their role in it. If you have kids or know of any kids, please consider these classes. Patti is an amazing advocate for sharing nature with kids and has an incredible background for it.

atti's Nature School: , a family childcare in my North Park home which is half day (8:30-1:00) M/W/F. We'll visit nearby canyons every week, do gardening, worm composting, art, yoga, and have weekly field trips to nature areas.

At Home in Nature, a Forest kindergarten model of all-outdoor early childhood program, parent & child classes, staff development. T/TH in August for parents and their children (grandparents, uncles, aunts welcome of course), T/TH in fall all-outdoor for 3-5's, with two-three teachers.
