
Introduction to Photography
This beginners workshop introduces the fundamentals of photography during a walking tour of the beautiful Balboa Park. If you just bought a camera or are new to photography and want to learn how to take beautiful photos, this workshop is for you. This workshop will introduce you to the basics of exposure and composition techniques that will open the door to endless photographic possibilities. This is a hands on learning experience and a wonderful opportunity to capture beautiful photos of one of San Diego's most scenic areas under the instruction of experienced professional photographers.

This workshop takes place outdoors and involves a little walking, so we recommend that you dress comfortably.
Don't forget to bring your camera, charged batteries, and memory cards.
We recommend that you have a DSLR camera or an advanced point and shoot camera with shutter priority and aperture priority modes. We do not rent equipment.

FUNdamentals, that's what this experience was. Both Nick & Don are professional and fun to learn from. Really enjoyed it and finally have some understanding of shooting beyond the green/auto setting!! Look forward to a more advanced class.

it was awesome! it de-mystified the whole F-stop, aperture, shutter speed, camera settings, auto v.s. manual, focus, lens, and more!! It was a great intro, relaxed atmosphere, really perfect group, and so much more.
