Manual Exposure
This intro to DSLR's and manual exposure workshop is aimed to get you off the automatic mode and teach you how to control your photography. This workshop teaches the fundamentals of exposure, which is the backbone of photography. If you do not have a good grasp on manual exposure, we recommend taking this workshop before any other workshop. Our other workshops expect you to already know this basic knowledge of photography and cameras, so this is a great start for new members. This is a content rich class, so we recommend bringing a notebook. We will provide handouts for you to follow along.
This workshop covers:
• DSLR cameras & equipment
• Viewfinder features
• Manual camera controls
• Metering light
• Fundamentals of manual exposure
• Shutter, Aperture, ISO
• Depth of field
• White Balance
Bring your DSLR camera.
I really enjoyed this class. The instructors were really down to earth, friendly, and nice. I definitely recommend this class to people wanting to get a handle on their DSLRs. I'll for sure take classes with The Workshoppe in the future. Thanks for a great class!

A few notes for this class:
The workshop will be held at our studio, which is located in the South Lobby of the Studio Arts Complex at 2400 Kettner Blvd. Suite 107, 92101.
Please bring your camera along with any lenses you may have. Make sure you have a memory card and charged batteries.
Parking is available in front of the building and the meter is free because it's Sunday.
We will be going outside to shoot and it may be cold, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater.
Handouts will be provided, but we encourage you to bring a pad and pen to take notes.
