Outdoor Portrait Lighting
If you have ever wanted to take beautiful, professional quality outdoor portraits, this workshop is for you. This workshop will teach you how to use various outdoor lighting techniques and lighting equipment to light your model in different situations.
The workshop will include natural light and artificial light, using reflectors, on and off camera flash, diffusion panels, p-22s, flags and on location battery powered strobes to light your subject. We will also go over what we call a "jump case", which includes gels, clips and other accessories that we bring on any location shoot, to better understand how to prepare yourself for any lighting situation.
Model will be present for demonstrations and practice.
We will start this workshop in the afternoon so that we can work with the sun's direction to better understand how to adapt to each lighting situation. We recommend that members have a DSLR camera and a good grasp on manual exposure or aperture priority mode before attending this workshop. This workshop requires a little walking so dress comfortably.
Join us for this lesson in one of the most popular areas of photography and take the next step in becoming a better photographer.
What is the model's name and does she have an Instagram account? I would like to post a photo of her on my IG account and want to reference her account so that my 14,000 plus followers can connect with her and see her other photos. Thanks
My IG username is @LarryMarshallPhotography

I learned a lot and really enjoyed the hands on aspect. Thanks Don and Nick for sharing with us all your knowledge and skills!

My 2nd class with Nick & Don. Very well organized. After they teach pro techniques in a subject they allow their students to practice and get hands on experience. They then go on to the next lesson. Joining this Meetup has greatly improved my skill sets.

After much discussion we have postponed tomorrow's class for March 3rd due to weather. With a high of 55 and any possibility of showers we did not want to run the risk of equipment damage nor a miserable weather day. If the rescheduling does not work for you don't hesitate to let us know and we will immediately issue a refund-thanks so much for your patience and understanding and if you have any other questions let us know-thanks
