Block Island - John Jack - July 25th - July 28th

  • July 25, 2010 · 7:00 PM

Enjoy some great diving off Block Island, Road Island July 25th to July 28th with the NYC Sea Gypsies on the dive boat The John Jack. Our dives will include German and American WWII submarines! We will meet in Montauk and load the boat Sunday evening July 25 and return back to Montauk Wednesday July 28 after diving. Our plan is to do two dives a day. We will decide what sites to dive after checking the weather, but we do plan on doing the German U-853 in 130 ft and the American freighter submarine The Bass in 160 ft of water. The other sites will be in 80 to 150 ft range. We will be docked in Block Island both Monday and Tuesday nights and will sleep on the boat all three nights. The price includes lunch and breakfast, and there are plenty of cool restaurants for us to choose from for dinner. The price also includes refilling your tanks with air every evening. Please bring 2 sets of filled tanks and whatever deco gasses you need. In the evening we will top off your tanks with air. Rebreather divers will need to bring enough O2 with you for all the dives. Dinner and tips to the crew are not included. Price: $350

Awesome trip with good company & accomodations aboard the John Jack, but most importantly fantastic dives all 3 days. Dolphins, sharks, subs, and great weather!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
