Hey David,

Slightly related, have you checked out Aptana’s IDE? Based on eclipse as well, but has some nice features you mentioned below (plus some other built in ftp sync functions, etc) in their personal edition. It’s also has good support for RoR (if you’re into that sort of thing).

Subject: [php-49] IDE question: netbeans?

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with the Netbeans IDE (http://www.netbeans.org/)?

I've been using Eclipse for a while and have gotten pretty comfortable with it.  However, Netbeans seems to have some nice(r?) features as it pertains to code-completion/hinting, custom classes, etc.  And they're both multi-platform (big plus for me).

Any pros/cons on Netbeans?

David
