(iLied?)

Guy 1: Hey, how much did you pay for that mac?
Guy 2: $1500
Guy 1: So it must have a nVidia 8800 and like 4GB of RAM right?
GUy 2: No, onboard graphics and 1GB of RAM
Guy 1: So why was it so much?
Guy 2: The keyboard is nice

Is it true that Siri will tell you a joke? Yes, but it will cost you a one time 15$ fee with a residual 4.95 per month afterwards.

I just wanted to clarify that this is a bash feature, not specific to Mac OS X.

That site seems like a treasure trove of Linux (command line) goodness.

In the past if I wanted to find a previous command I'd run fromt he
command line I'd do:

history | grep string

And then:

!212 (to run the command)

But I just found out that you can do
CTRL+R

And start typing and it'll pull up a command that you are looking for
and you can just hit enter! It doesn't show a whole list of commands
that might match but for what I want it works pretty well.
