Re: [php-49] Joomla Migration Help IS Wanted

I'm heading out to Joomla!Day Las Vegas next month and there is a lot of talk about migrating because 1.0 is not going to be officially supported this summer and 1.6 seems to be moving along pretty fast. If you can wait a few weeks I think I will be able to share some knowledge in this area as well possibly suggest waiting for 1.6
I will need to migrate a few websites myself so I will actually be able to share from experience once I accomplish that. Let me know what your time frame is. If you can wait, consider it a done deal.

Hi PHP Seattle,
I have been trying to migrate my content from Joomla 1.0X to Joomla 1.5X. The tables are different and I am having trouble importing the data into Joomla 1.5.
If anyone knows Joomla and how to migrated my content into the new database, your help would be appreciated.

Contact me if you can help.

If I can get this done, it would free up time to attend more meetings and meet all of you. I look forward to working with you.
