About The NYC Search & Social Media Marketing Meetup Group

This meetup is for anyone who wants to network with people who either know SEO, SEM or social media marketing, r people who want to know more. It is an opportunity to meet your peers, exchange ideas, and ask or answer other people's questions.

As organizer, my philosophy is the democratization of knowledge, and so events will all be infused with an objective to share knowledge and help people to connect with one another in a mutually beneficial way.

The format has changed. There will now be a happy hour/networking style event every month, and 1-2 smaller "Share & Learn" events that are more of an educational event, where specific topics will be covered by experts, with a lot of Q & A.

I will make every effort to find a sponsor for the monthly happy hour networking events -- free booze are always nice, right?
